ALTER-EU The Alliance for Lobbying Transparency and Ethics Regulation

As a follow-up to the publication of the report 'A captive Commission', ALTER-EU welcomes the statements  of Mr Barnier in his approval hearing in front of the Parliament about the need to start a discussion on thecomposition of some expert groups, and the strong case he made for “the most independent andqualitative monitoring studies and expertise”

ALTER-EU asked him to take concrete measures to break the stronghold of the financial industry into DG Internal Market.
