Lobby millions missing from the transparency register, say campaigners

Millions of euros of lobby spending are missing from the lobby register declarations made by key industry groups, ALTER-EU reveals, on the eve of the launch of the new joint transparency register.

Majority of lobbying consultancies still missing from EC lobby transparency register

Survey on the registration of EU lobbying consultancies in the European Commission’s Register of Interest Representatives highlights failure of voluntary approach. Almost two years after the European Commission launched the register, sixty per cent of EU lobbying consultancies are still not registered.
