For this report, Magdalena Moreh asked Mr Adrian Severin - one of the MEPs caught red-handed in the Cash-for-Amendments scandal for an interview. His reply: "I not consider that this topic is of interest for Romanian society." 

Of the three MEPs caught in the corruption scandal only Adrian Severin remained in Parliament. The other two, Ernst Strasser (Austrian) and Zoran Thaler (Slovenia) resigned immediately.
